I’ve come to love technology. Well, that’s not really true, I’ve always loved it. I guess I have come to have a working knowledge kind of love of technology. Blogging, Google, smartphone, podcasting… these are the words that make my heart go pitter-pat.
It’s got to be useful.
I love to tinker… with just about everything. A recipe, a website or thinking of how I can get from my house to the local french bakery in a more efficient way. It’s how my brain works, maybe it’s a sickness. I love things that are useful. They make life better, easier and more enjoyable. That’s the technology and gadgets which make my heart skip a beat, and cause me to share these useful things with others.
Do I know a great task list resource? Yep. Do I have a way to keep passwords secure but accessible to the owner? Uh-huh. Do I know a great shopping cart? Yes I do. I enjoy finding these things and sharing them with others.
Geek? Yes. Techie? You bet. I’ll happily share that knowledge… because someone besides me is likely to find it useful. That’s what gets me going in the morning… knowing that sharing what I love is helping someone else.
