I just finished reading this book recently. The book is about what the future of “work” looks like. It means you are totally who you are, and give that to the world. You give your best stuff, and you are indispensible.
Here’s my favorite quote:
The linchpin feels the fear, acknowledges it, then proceeds. I can’t tell you how to do this; I think the answer is different for everyone.
Seriously awesome.
Do you ever look at people who have done something really great. Beyond the the understanding of awesomeness. Isn’t it inspiring? The truth is, they feel the fear too. They just say…
Well hello, Fear. Yeah, could you kindly move to the side please? I’ve got places to go. Come or don’t, I’m going past you anyway.
It’s not that fear goes away. It’s still there, maybe they even shake hands or give it a swift kick in the pants while passing. But the truth is, they still have it. So do we. Let’s do it anyway.
